Hi Its been about 8 months since my last relaxer.
I’m still trying to figure out my head of hair but my bald spot is growing back thank God.

    • mya32189

I have thought about relaxing, crazy I know but I was getting frustrated with my hair so i deep conditioned and thought of my bald spot and that crazy thought went away quick.
I have been taking pics of my progress since april and I must say it is growing nicely.

I’m trying to come up with my transitoning styles I should just cut of my relaxer but I like the tiny bit of length I do have… I was thinking of trying the maxi glide its like a flat iron but it uses steam I think to straighten the hair. I figure this would be nice to do in the winter because I am kinda tired of braiding my hair, it takes to long for me.

well tell me what you think of the maxi glide if you have heard of it ?

      thanks

    • mya32189

sorry for all the msgs I tried sending you one on regular msg but I was just letting u know how my transitioning is going.

Hi mya…I know…I have been sorely tempted to go back to the relaxer, but something just stopped me each time! jus keep on keepin on and experimenting hun, am sure you will get there…check out some of the other transitioners vids on here for styles…and yes have heard of maxi glide but can’t get it in the UK…have cut the flat ironing right down to like once every 3 months, y’know for a trim/dusting of ends only

    • mya32189

yea Its kinds like I want to because the maxi glide seems to be safer than a regular flat iron….but I’m going to try some ayuervedic powders..from watching your videos they seem interesting.

Is it posible to leave out the emulsifier in this recipe and shake it every time I need to use it?

I’ve just found you, and I’m so excited. Your a woman after my own heart. I’ve just gone natural and It has changed my outlook on life. I’ve been researching on You tube since December but today thought I would specifically look for Naturals in the UK. I found 4Nappiness4eva and she spoke about you. You also mentioned in your other video that you do crafty things just like me so today I will be watching your vids and I can’t wait to start making my own products and my own vids. Happppyy Thanx

I was wondering which brand of coconut milk did you purchase to make this?
The brands of coconut milk i’ve seen is 75% of coconut milk and the rest is stabilizers, so i don’t know if its ok to use it in this recipe or not.

    • ReviveUK

@MissEJB9 Hi, I can’t remember now, but you probably need to go for an organic one or any that you feel comfortable with the ingredients listed in it :0)

@ReviveUK thank you for the reply, I was going to buy some online but i came across some coconut cream, would that be alright for this recipe to replace the coconut milk?
P.S I saw ur recent videos and ur hair looks gorgeus, also good luck with the gardening!

    • ReviveUK

@ReviveUK thanks, the garden is coming along nicely…well in the UK the coconut cream is hard so that would be no good for a spritz, but if its liquid where you are, then your’e good to go :0)

I was just wondering what kind of effect do you think it will have on the spritz if I were to leave out the silk protein? (I love your videos btw! I made the homemade gel and I love how my hair looked and felt!)

    • ReviveUK

@naturallyfriseschica hi, thanks…it would make no difference to the consistency…the silk is to add protein to the product
