Beauty Benefits of Coconut Oil for Hair and Skin

I love, love, love my highlights! Ever since I went from very dark brown hair to my JLo colored hair, I make sure to use products that add moisture. I have been using Extra Virgin Coconut Oil on my hair and it looks and feels amazing! I get a lot of questions on how I care for my hair. Well, it’s Coconut Oil. I use it also to remove my waterproof mascara and eyeliner and face makeup. I also use it on my body (face, lips, elbows, knees, heels and soles of my feet.) I have even tried cooking with it and as much as I love coconut. I’m not crazy about the taste in my food. If you have never tried Coconut Oil for your hair, you will be amazed by the way your hair will feel. If your hair is damaged by heat, curling and flat irons or blow drying. Comb the Coconut Oil in your hair when it is dry. Place a cap over your head or use a grocery vegetable bag, Wrap a warm towel out of the dryer around your head and leave it on 30 minutes. If your hair isn’t damaged, just comb through your dry hair and leave on 15 minutes. Rinse out twice and add your usual conditioner. (¯`v´¯) `•.¸.•´Big Hugs & Kisses ? I love coconut oil too, though it makes my hair too greasy. I? mostly use argan oil from pro naturals since it’s lighter and it works just as well.

I too use Argan oil. I switch back and forth, I love the fact that both are multi-purpose and can used in similiar ways. Argan oil can be costly and? coconut oil is a tad bit inexpensive and delivers the same benefits. Argan oil is light and just makes your hair so so soft, love it. Thanks for the comment.
