It’s also great for diaper rash! My babies are cloth diapered, and have had some nasty, open sore rashes. This was THE? best cure and it was ok to put them on the diapers 🙂

    Hi Dani,

My favorite is roasted sweet potatoes, tossed in melted coconut oil, nutmeg, kosher salt and sugar. I also roast broccoli with it- that might have been your recipe!

I’ve been trying to come up? with a garlic lemon butter dipping sauce substitute with coconut oil. Haven’t had much luck. It;s for dipping artichokes. If you have a recipe for that I would be so happy!

One question I do have, how is it that coconut oil is 2.2 kcal less per gram than regular fats?
this means that coconut oils yield 6.8 kcal/gram. do you have a source that you can provide? me? thanks!

YES I LUV CCO. i use it all the? time for cooking. I also use it in my hair, on my face, in my homeade lotion. Unrefined-Cold Pressed is the best.
you did a wonderful job!!!! GO CCO!!!!!!

I use it on my skin, from head to toes.? I suffer from a chronic skin condition (atopic dermatitis) that makes my skin super dry and coconut oil feels great (I get a cheaper cosmetic grade unrefined coconut oil for that)

    Hi Dani, love your videos!

I use this brand of coconut oil on many things. I’ve been trying to eat cleaner and use this or EVOO. Just wondering what I could use for the times when I want to saute/fry and don’t want the coconut taste? Also as a replacement for cooking spray?? Thanks!

You can find coconut oil in Indian grocery stores too. A lot of dishes from Kerela? (region of India) are prepared using coconut oil.

Coconut oil is also a great conditioner for the hair. Leave it on all night and wash it off in the morning for silkier hair.
