Coconut Oil Touted as Alzheimers Remedy –

Researchers say the ketones found in coconut oil have slowed the progression of Alzheimer’s disease in some people and may actually prevent it… WOW! Great point..thanks for the up. I’ve been advised by Naturopaths that 1 tablespoon before or with meals is ideal! I buy mine online and in bulk from a local company that produce a FIJIAN Coconut oil… Buy in bulk its cheaper. They deliver world wide too.

I like the fact that a medical professional is involved with helping her spouse and
she is familiar with the SCIENTIFIC research criteria. The fact that she seeks the
assistance of the researchers’ at the university in England, that are doing Ketone research
lends credence to? her efforts. Glynn Condit, Retired Educator

With coconut oil also making for? a good laxative, it might have been smart to suggest a serving size for this.

Coconut oil? is 92% saturated fat. Cure Alzheimers and develop heart disease. It does not improve cholesterol levels. More BS.

Mosriteman1, did you actually WATCH the video?? Non-hydrogenated coconut oil contains HDL cholesterol. The GOOD kind. I’ve been doing the coconut oil due to high cholesterol and my doc may actually take me off my statins.

According to a study in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2011;20(2):190-5. “Dietary coconut oil intake was positively associated? with high density lipoprotein cholesterol especially among pre-menopausal women, suggesting that coconut oil intake is associated with beneficial lipid profiles. Coconut oil consumption was not significantly associated with low density lipoprotein cholesterol or triglyceride values.” This means it also did NOT raise bad cholesterol or triglycerides.
