Eye Makeup Remover Comparison – Extra Virgin Olive Oil and L’oreal Makeup Remover

I’ve been using EVOO for a while, and always loved it- but lately with all my tutorials and everything, I thought maybe an official eye makeup remover might do the job better somehow. So, I decided to film my results, the removing part of the video is all unedited, one take- so theres no chance of me changing the results for any reason. I hope this helps you all, the results actually really surprised me! Thanks for watching- and don’t forget to rate, comment, and subscribe~! ~Proxy013

In france olive oil is as expansive as a Gemey make up remover, so I prefer buyin a real remover XD

I don’t know if you use false eyelashes… if you do.. Will it remove them also?
      Thanks!
      Love your channel <3

I actually don’t use false eyelashes- I have yet to find a pair that doesn’t make me look like dragalicious (not that there’s anything wrong with that… 🙂 ,but I believe you can pull them off, or do you mean will it remove the adhesive? If so I’ll put some on tonight and try it out for ya! Let me know! Thanks!

I’m also prone to it! It hasn’t broken me out- and I’ve used it for about 2 months now. It’s a very natural oil and doesn’t clog your pores, BUT every skin is different so just try it out and hopefully your skin will love it as much as mine has! My eye area is so nice and smooth now, I recommend it to everyone! 🙂 Hope this helps!

Thank-you for the quick reply!! I will be watching <3

Hey Onx! Just tried it out, and it did remove it! At first I didn’t have much on the cotton ball and it seemed to reactivate the stickiness, but I got another cotton ball and put my normal amount on it and it came off just fine! So I would say so, but try it yourself and let me know if it worked for you! I hope this was helpful! Thanks so much! 🙂

    • itsumoneko98

Dumb question but, are you positive it’s olive oil and not vegetable oil you are using?

I am not sure how you used it. I have used it for over a year now and love the EVOO. I do it a little different then she does though. I put it on an makeup pad and lay it on my eye for about a minute and then gently begin removing. It actually has made my lashes get thicker and longer.

The EVOO is noncomediogenic which means it does not clog pores and cause acne – it is also an antioxidant. I love it and actually it made my lashes thicker and longer after a few months of use.

I wear false eyelashes and I lay a makeup pad on my eye for a bit and when the adhesive is soft I gently remove the lash – I also use it to clean the lashes so that I can reuse them.

umm, I understand the point that olive oil is way better, but you acted a bit too dramatic, by saying “ouch” too much, and it did look like you were rubbing it TO hard on your eye lid..
other than that, olive oil does work great.

    • Juicii

if you’ve ever used the l’oreal eye makeup remover, you’d know that you HAVE to rub hard in order to get anything off. in other words it sucks!

    • MizAlicia

oh wow, well i guess, but i am using some wipes from Costco right now 🙂 i need a good olive oil brand for make-up removing purposes.

    • xxblownaway

olive oil is the expensive alternative?
well i guess if you would ever consider buying drug store makeup or makeup remover…
and why do you keep saying ow over and over again? it wont be the makeup remover at all that hurts you its the cotton ball which you use for the olive oil also
