Thank you! He is a toy poodle and yorkie mix. I had the exact same problem the first time I did the mask. Did? you do the mask before you cleansed/shampoo’d?

Yes.. I always do it on dry hair…go under Steamer.. then.. wash.. then leave in? conditioner..

Wow! I wish I had a steamer! They do wonders for the hair. Try doing a? moisturizing deep condition or 15 min moisturizing conditioning treatment after your wash. What could be causing your hair to be hard to detangle is the heavy amounts of protein in the coconut milk. 🙂

From experience, the best is a lemon rinse or an apple cider vinegar rinse! You can try using the juice of 2 or 3 lemons (depending on the amount of hair you have) and 1 quart of distilled or filtered water.? The apple cider vinegar rinse is easy as well. 1 part apple cider vinegar and 1 part water. You can use either one after you cleanse or shampoo your hair. It works wonders to reduce the oil in your hair and scalp!! 🙂

I hope to try this out, thanks? for the recipe! I have a hair mask i recently bought, Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Mask, it has worked really well but it’s pricey so I’m getting into homemade recipes to make it last.

I do this and it doesn’t smell bad. It’s not great, but it’s a pretty light scent.
Maybe its the? coconut milk you use?
The only two ingredients in the one I buy is the coconut and water
