What is the best Shampoo and Conditioner?

So, lately i’ve been switching shampoo’s and conditioners very very often.
since i was in middle school i used Pantene products, and they worked wonderfully with my hair.
Then i switched to Garnier Fructis, which also worked great with my hair, then i switched to Herbal Essences for a while, which worked fine but i wasn’t AS impressed.

So then the last time, and what i have now is the Organix Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner, i had read some great reviews about it so i decided to give it a try.
Lets just say i ended up wasting 14 bucks, any conditioner no matter what brand has at least made my hair brushable, but i had to practically rip out my hair trying to get the tangles out.
this is it: http://www.walgreens.com/search/results.jsp?Ntt=organix+coconut+milk+conditioner

So, i would like opinons from people, should i switch back to Pantene products if so, which ones (the original, or new Nature Fusion one)
or should i go back to Garnier Fructis?

btw; my hair type is thick, wavy, frizzy hair (i can easily straighten or curl my hair and it turns out nice though), its about 20 inches, it looks kinda long since i’m petite.
